The drive was not that long today only 217 miles but it look a long time. I was driving in rain almost the entire way with it raining very light part of the time a very heavy at other times. This is the first time that I have driven the Salt River canyon in over 40 years and in the rain it is slow. The route today was: US60/US180/US191, US60, US60/AZ77, US60, AZ287, AZ287/AZ87, AZ87 & Battaglia Dr. no pic
The only stop was at the Show Low Cafe where I got a very expensive Chorizo Omelet. It was good but I can not recommend the Cafe because of their prices. There were not a lot of choices after Show Low; Globe is a long drive south through the Salt River Canyon. If I were to do it over I would have gone to one of my favorites in Springerville.

They have received a lot of rain here overnight and today. It was still raining when I got here and looks like it will continue through the rest of the day. My permanent site was a bog so I'm in a temporary one until the ground drys out. I'll be in and out 3 times during this week and don't want to make a mud pit out of my space.

I think John Hinderaker has made a telling point in his article Why The Brett Kavanaugh Smear? I have quoted his closing but the entire article is worth reading.

By smearing the ultimate Boy Scout, the Democrats signal that they are determined to go lower than anyone has ever gone in American history. They intend to deter normal people from serving in Republican administrations, or accepting appointments from Republican presidents, or, ultimately, from identifying themselves with the Republican party. Given that strategy, the fact that they are smearing a man of obviously sterling character on absurdly flimsy grounds is not a bug, it is a feature. The fact that the Democrats’ smears are so patently false is ultimately their main point.

The Democrats are telling us: Republicans, beware–if this can happen to Brett Kavanaugh, it can happen to anyone. You’d better go quietly and cede power to us.

Theses two 'books' are very short short stories. I would guess the original publicaction in hardback was not much more that 20 pages each. They are probably included in some other book that compiled his short stories but I downloaded them as books from Gutenberg.

leftpic rightpic Clocks is humorous and The Cost Of Kindness is satire which I think is Mr. Jerome's best genre. I selected one pithy quote from Clocks

Truth and fact are old-fashioned and out-of-date, my friends, fit only for the dull and vulgar to live by. Appearance, not reality, is what the clever dog grasps at in these clever days. We spurn the dull-brown solid earth; we build our lives and homes in the fair-seeming rainbow-land of shadow and chimera.
The temporary site that I had yesterday had an electric problem. Everything worked until my A/C compressor started then the electricity shut down. I was able to live without the A/C last night but it is going to get increasingly uncomfortable without it as it heats up and the humidity goes even higher.

It has now been raining for over 24 hours but the clouds are starting to look like they will break up and the weather gussers say they will. When I went shopping this morning I stopped for breakfast at Nico's for some Huevos con Chorizo which was not so good. I'll probably not go back because of that and it is also out of my way. Gas for Desperado and groceries for me at Fry's at the north side of Casa Grande. Then stopped at a dog groomers and made an appointment for Patches to get a bath.

While at Fry's I started Desperado's generator and the ran the A/C on generator electric and it worked fine. Back in the Park I tried the space next door to my temporary and had the same problem. Moved to the row of spaces west where I selected a space and A/C is working great. Went to the Park office and told them where I was parked and I'll be here until my reserved space dries out. Probably will take 2-3 days; everything is saturated with mud everywhere. The Valley Of The Sun where are you?

I can not remember a time that Patches and I have been rained out of our walks for as many days as we have been now. Yesterday both our morning and afternoon walks were shortened because we were getting wet.

This morning I woke up around 4:30 with rain on the roof. Still raining at 6:30 which is the time we usually finish our walk in the morning. I don't know when we are going to get out there but it has to be soon. Patches needs a potty walk even if I am doing it with an umbrella.

As of 7:45 the local Weather Underground station is reporting that another 0.56" of rain has been added to the previous total with no sign of it stopping anytime soon. It has been just blind luck that the first two temporary spaces had electric problems. They are both now covered with standing water, the space I'm in is relatively dry compared to them and the other spaces on both sides of me. Here is one News report: Rosa Rains Drenching Southwest US

Fred Reed has chimed in with a posting, Kavanaugh Gang-Rapes Collie in Satanic Ritual: College Boys in KKK Robes Chant “Hitler! Hitler! Hitler!”, about the Kavanaugh saga. I have selected only one of his quotable, and so typical Reed, passages from a posting well worth reading.

It would be uncharitable of me to note that she sure did pop up at a politically convenient time. So I won’t note it, as I am very charitable. Anyway, such is the nobility of our democracy that no one would make phony rape charges to derail a judgeship. In Guatemala, yes, but not in America. Heaven forfend.
The White Heterosexual Male Has Been Renditioned To The Punishment Hole by Paul Craig Roberts is a posting that only uses the Kavanaugh saga to make a larger point. I have quoted his closing and suggest that the entire posting is a worthy read.
In the assault on Kavanaugh, we are witnessing an Identity Politics assault on the White Heterosexual Male, an assault whose purpose is less to block Kavanaugh than to discourage white heterosexual males from standing for office as it is so easy for feminists to ruin a man’s reputation. The plan is to put the “victim groups” of the white male in office so that retribution can be handed out to white males in keeping with feminist professor Christine Fair’s agenda of killing them, castrating their dead bodies and feeding them to swine.

Perhaps white males have understood this. You see them increasingly with Asian and Hispanic women, not with white women who are increasingly seen with black men. In another generation or two, perhaps the white ethnicities will have disappeared.

Then to whom will Identity Politics assign the hated role?

We went out for our morning walk at 8:30 yesterday when I thought it had stopped raining. It had stopped when we went out but started again twice while we out there. Got wet! However, I don't know how much was from rain and how much was from sweat. The temperature was 87° with the humidity at 93%.

It did stop raining around 10:00 and the sun started drying everything. I could look out at standing water and almost see it slowing disappearing. Part of that is soaking in which is not so good but a lot of it is evaporation and drying. Although there was that evaporation going on the afternoon walk at 4:00 had the same temperature as in the morning but humidity was down to 22% - much better.

I looked at a couple of spaces in the older part of the Park yesterday morning. Thought there might be a dryer space but neither of them appealed to me. The older part of the Park is almost all permanent residents in Park Models and the two spaces available were just a muddy as my assigned site. I'll wait for mine to dry!

The next 3 day forecast is clear and sunny. My plan is to back into the space when I return from Tucson on Saturday. I think it will be dry enough by then and I'll be all set for the lower temperatures and the chance of more rain on Sunday and Monday. Monday is shopping day so when I get back I may find the space under water again.

How can the Lame Stream Media keep saying that the economy is strong and growing yet not give President Trump any credit for it being so? I would also like to know how President Trump can claim that he is making America Great Again in the face of articles such as The Retail Apocalypse Picks Up Speed As Sears, JCPenney, Brookstone And Mattress Firm Spiral Toward Bankruptcy by Michael Snyder. The President and the Media can not both be divorced from economic reality; they have to know that the bubble will pop.

Over 20 major retailers have filed for bankruptcy since the beginning of last year, and in 2018 we may break the all-time record for annual store closings that was established just last year. We are in the midst of the worst retail apocalypse in American history, and it appears to be picking up speed as retail giants such as Sears, JCPenney, Brookstone and Mattress Firm spiral toward bankruptcy. We live at a time when the middle class is being systematically destroyed, and so the truth is that U.S. consumers simply do not have as much discretionary income as they once did. Many large retailers believed that things would eventually turn around, and they have been fighting very hard to survive, but now time has run out for quite a few of them.

Ifinally completed the pixel art drawing that was started over three months ago. It didn't take me that long to draw it, there was a long delay imposed by the CSS Grid and Google Map Projects. leftpicIt did take longer than most because this one was complicated. There are 3-4 colors in each of the leaves which blend together to give the appearance that you see. I am very pleased with how well it has turned out.

We tried to do a walk outside the Park yesterday afternoon. First we went west until reaching a paved road but could not get on it due to the VERY muddy ditch between it and where we were. Then we did a wandering route in the field where we were also confronted with small washes.

They were dry in the bottem but had VERY slick mud along the edges. Almost fell after slipping when getting across one of them and now have mud cover footware. Stayed in the Park this morning, there needs to be some more drying time. HA

So is it all just politics, or reality television? The differences, of course, are in the consequences. Reality can never be denied for long and this is reality: We’ve passed the point of no return. America is circling the drain. All of her institutions are under attack currently and, barring any great and unforeseen circumstances, won’t survive. In order to truly drain the swamp, a lot of people would have to die. Conversely, so, too, must others be removed prior to the establishment of the New Faith.

Therefore, a larger question remains: Who dies and who survives?

There was a lot of News yesterday about the great unemployment rate. There was also a lot of excuses for the poor job creation numbers. What was not much written about was the all time record for Not In The Labor Force at 96,364,000 which exceeded the previous all time record set in August 2018. What also got very little attention was the Labor Participation Rate at 62.7% which has now been accepted at the New Normal. These are not numbers that you would expect to see in a growing economy.

However, there is really great News in the article US Consumer Credit Hits All Time High As Credit Card Usage Jumps

More notably, after a two-month dormancy in using credit cards, American consumers returned to doing what they do best - spending money they don't have - with revolving credit jumping by $4.8 billion, the highest monthly increase since May, and the second highest of 2018. The monthly increase brought the total to a new all time high of $1.042 trillion.
I went to shoot with the Pima Pistol Club BUG (Back Up Gun) Match this morning at their range in North Tucson. It is over an hour drive to get there and I needed breakfast at Jerry Bob's so we left here a little after 6:00 am. They started at just about the time that they claimed which is unusual for most of the clubs I have shot with. They have IDPA stages but the distances are a bit less. There are 4 classes: Backup Pistol, Backup Revolver (my class), Hideout Gun & Big 5 (bigger guns but must start with only 5 rounds).

I think there were only 4 revolvers at the match today. I'll report more when the match results are posted. The scoring is a little different than IDPA but I'll get an idea of how well, or poorly, I did by comparing scores. One of the big difference was a time cut off at 30 seconds.

There is a heavy cloud overcast this morning with rain coming from the northeast. The weather gurus think there is only a 20% chance that it will rain here. What the storm has brought so far is some very pleasant temperatures with the expected high to be 74°. More of the same tomorrow them warming into the 80s until the weekend when there may be showers and cooler temperatures again. Very nice now that the hurricane rains have quit.

leftpic The Firm of Girdlestone was first published in magazine People from 27 October 1889 to 13 April 1890 then as a book by Chatto and Windus of London in 1890. In 1915 a silent film adaptation was made. The customer review does a good job of describing the book but what they disliked so much I enjoyed.

Character introductions need to be lengthy. This reviewer would hate James Albert Michener's novels where he would write 200 pages about the stories geography - I love the story background.

When this book is good, it is GOOD. However, the first 100 pages really dragged for me. Being introduced to the characters at SUCH (excessive) length before their importance was known was laborious reading. I appreciate the humor around Tobias Clutterbuck and the widow Scully, which gave me some genuine laugh out loud moments. The last fifty or so pages had excellent plot twists, ambience, tension, etc. I was also thrilled to see Doyle's spin on the Gothic in this.

So, final judgment, the end is really good and there are some nice elements of humor sprinkled throughout, but it really does drag. This could have lost 150+ pages and been much more fun. I would advise you to go for it, but don't hesitate to skim the interminable exposition. - Customer Review @ goodreads.com

I am now in my 'permanent' space in the Park. It was an easy back-in yesterday but that will change when the Park fills up and I won't have the extra room in front of the space to get lined up.

It is a very deep space which by necessity has Desperado almost at the extreme back end. That is where I need to be for my electric cord to reach the pedestal.

I need to be disconnected from electric and move Desperado forward to hook up to the sewer. The water faucet is on the right side of Desperado which is a strange location but since I do not remain hooked up to sewer or water I don't think this is an inconvenience. My right side neighbor's water faucet is at the same place which is far more inconvenient for them but they will probably stay connected.

I will not know for sure until someone gets into that space on the right but it looks like I'll have breathing room. The left side will be a bit more crowded but I have an aloe vera and tree border that provides a semblance of separation. All in all it is a primo space - until we get a heavy rain! HA

Well I got both the rain and the right side neighbor. The rain came last night soon after I went to bed and it rained hard for a short time. The local reporting station claims it was 0.09" but I'm parked in a lake bed and I get the runoff. This morning I stepped out into 1.5-2" of water then some mud to disconnect from electric so I could go shopping.

When I got back it was more tromping through mud and water to get connected again. As I was backing in my right side neighbors waited for me to get off the road so they could back in. Their space is drier than mine but part of their trailer is park in water. It looks to me like they could have avoided that by backing in farther and would not have need of an extension for their electric and water. But to each their own.

We did get a light shower yesterday morning as the cloud cover blew over. Just enough rain to wet the ground with the sun following close behind to dry it again within an hour. It dried out enough that I was able to do about a mile walk in the desert east of the Park and then return along Battaglia Rd south of the drainage ditch. I will not be able to get out there today, it will be all mud.

I was out of prepared 'linners' so yesterday was cooking day. Made up a batch of hulled barley, oat groats, chicken, peas-n-carrots and Ricotta. Then another batch that was the same but with tuna versus chicken. Maybe get a salmon fillet in the Roaster tomorrow.

Shopping at a Fry's that is a little closer than the north Casa Grande store but is not any easier to get to. The shortest route requires me to make a left hand turn from a 45 degree intersection which is always a problem. I need to stop well before the intersection so I can see traffic coming from my right and sometimes there are obstructions. I will no go that way again.

Breakfast was at JB's across the street where I had an omelet that was not worth the price. I probably will not go that way again either.

My space in the Park could very well be the last one to dry out after a rain. The standing water has mostly gone away but that has left a lot of mud that still needs to dry. Maybe by tomorrow. Meanwhile Patches and I have been tracking a lot of mud into Desperado.

I'll not be doing much of anything today, sort of like most of my days. I have a couple of rabbits that stop by most mornings that provide some entertainment. Also have a covey of quail that have come by 3 times since I have been in this mud hole. I think they come to get a drink.

The salmon fillet will go into the Roaster soon. That will take care of my 'linner' cooking for the next few days. I'll need to boil some more hulled barley and oat groats for beakfast tomorrow but that has become a weekly routine.

Getting Old Is Not For Sissies

A little silver-haired lady calls her neighbor and says, "Please come over here and help me.
I have a killer jigsaw puzzle, and I can't figure out how to get started." Her neighbor asks, "What is it supposed to be when it's finished?" The little silver haired lady says, "According to the picture on the box, it's a rooster."
Her neighbor decides to go over and help with the puzzle. She lets him in and shows him where she has the puzzle spread all over the table.
He studies the pieces for a moment, then looks at the box, then turns to her and says,
"First of all, no matter what we do, we're not going to be able to assemble these pieces into anything resembling a rooster." He takes her hand and says, "Secondly, I want you to relax. Let's have a nice cup of tea, and then," he said with a deep sigh ............ "Let's put all the Corn Flakes back in the box."

The following quote describes a part of Germany's war strategy in preparing for World War I. Does anyone besides me think that Russia, China, Iran, Turkey and others are not students of history? They are unloading U. S. debt for multiple reasons but this lesson has to play a part.
This proposition is that just as a treaty is only a scrap of paper, so also is a bond or debenture, and that just as the highest interest of a nation may at any moment override ordinary morality, the same vital urgency may justify anything in the nature of repudiation of debt. This is not to be done on account of inability to pay the debt; but through a deliberate, cold-blooded plot to weaken the creditor by robbing him of his property. - The German War, Arthur Conan Doyle

Another pixel art tree. This one was so much easier since it had only two colors. The hardest part was trying to remember how to save and export with a transparent background.

I like drawing the cushion covers and there are a lot more available with at least one added every week. But they do not teach me how to do more complex drawings. They are all geometric and most of them have a repeating pattern. I'm now looking for pictures that do not have that repetition.

WOW, I got an email yesterday that said I had won $50,000 in the International Power Ball Sweep Stake Lottery. All I have to do is "accept to reimburse our fiduciary agent the sum of $12,800.00" to cover legal and handling charges. I got to thinking and could not remember buying the ticket that they said was my winner. O Well, easy come easy go plus the email came from Poland. HA

Yesterday afternoon I walked west and was able to cross the ditch on the east side of a road than goes north and south for the first time. It has been too muddy since I have been here for me to go that way. I'll modify the route that I took from there however because I had a Pit Bull charge Patches and I. It was not a full blown attack but there could have been a hell of a dog fight because Patches is protective. I held her back and the owners of the Pit came running to get their dog that was off leash and outside their back yard. No appology - I'm sure they think it was all my fault.

This is not one of Conan Doyle's books that I would recommend unless you are interested in reading everything that he wrote.

Preface
These essays, upon different phases of the wonderful world-drama which has made our lifetime memorable, would be unworthy of republication were it not that at such a time every smallest thing which may help to clear up a doubt, to elucidate the justice of our cause, or to accentuate the desperate need of national effort, should be thrown into the scale. The longest essay appeared in The Fortnightly Review and the shorter ones for the most part in The Daily Chronicle. I have left them as written at the time, even where after-events have caused some modification of my views.

The weather guessers think there is going to be more rain tonight, tomorrow and Saturday. If they are right and we get their expected half inch the space I'm in will be flooded again. It has not completely dried out from the last storm.

The News is all about the 832 point drop in the Dow Index yesterday. I checked at about 8:30 am my time and saw that it was down another 270 points. Is this the long awaited Crash or just another head fake? Maybe an October Surprise to boost the chances for The Democratic Socialists of America in the November elections.

Speaking of the election. In the latest ABC15/OH Predictive Insights poll of Arizona's contested Senate race shows my Representative Martha McSally increasing her lead over Democrat Kyrsten Sinema. McSally has a six-point edge on Sinema, 47 percent to 41 percent. However, both candidates received less support than they did in September since Green Party candidate Angela Green has picked up 4% of those polled.

Nothing much happening here. I'll be reading my new book on Paperwhite and drawing some more pixel art.

The weather guessers called this one. It started raining around 4:30 am and at 8:00 am the total had reached 0.45" with no end in sight. Those same guessers think it will stop by noon but I'm not convinced. They think there will be more tomorrow which is going to give me a mud hole at the bottom of a lake. I have the mud already.

During the period 1 October 2017 to 31 January 2018 the Arizona City reporting station recorded a total of 0.42". So far from 1 October to now the total is 1.70". Yesterday when I asked the 'head' maintenance guy for the Park if he could do something to keep me out of the mud when I stepped out my front door. He said NO! So I wait for it to quit raining and then hope it does not rain any more while I am here which may not be as long as I originally planned.

It looks like the Dow Index got a dead cat bounce this morning. I'm not so sure that the gain will hold until the end of trading but it has the Business News pundits all excited.

I tend to think that James Howard Kunstler has a more realistic view in his blog posting Hammer Time. I am quoting his closing paragraph.

Complicating matters this time will be the chaos unleashed in politics and governing when the long-running “Russia collusion” melodrama boomerangs into a raft of indictments against the cast of characters in the Intel Community and Department of Justice AND the Democratic National Committee, and perhaps even including the Party’s last standard bearer, HRC, for ginning up the Russia Collusion matter in the first place as an exercise in sedition. The wheels of the law turn slowly, but they’ll turn even while financial markets tumble. And the threat to order might be so great that an unprecedented “emergency” has to be declared, with soldiers in the streets of Washington, as was sadly the case in 1861, the first time the country turned itself upside down.

The weather guessers were right on with their call for when the the rain would stop yesterday. They said it would quit at noon then changed their minds and said 12:45; they should have stuck with thier first guess. It stopped raining at noon or a little before if you discount the few sprinkles during the last half hour. The total was 0.58" for this passing storm and the forecast was for a repeat today. I had about 2" of water and mud under my entrance door which was still be there this morning.

More rain came this morning but it didn't start until we had finished our walk. Yesterday I waited until 9:00 am for it to quit and finally went out with Patches on a potty walk. Me with an umbrella and she got wet but it didn't phase her. She could do all her walks in a gentle female rain, it is a hard rain that she does not like.

That is what started this morning at about 7:15. There was a strong wind pushing this storm north and it was a thunderstorm versus the long soakers that we got last week. Dumped 0.51" in the first 30 minutes, 0.25" in the first 10, then seemed to move on by. We will get more light rain today and the National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for all of south central and south western Arizona.

This pixel art landscape has 10 colors in it but was easier to draw than the 6 colors in the autumn tree.leftpic That is the good news, the bad news is the website where I was getting my FREE patterns has now imposed a $2.50/month charge. I will not be getting any more from there although I do have two additional trees that I downloaded a few days ago.

I spent some time yesterday looking for another FREE source and found a lot of them but they either did not have anything that appealed to me or those that did required far too many colors. I have found one that offers a few with a 'reasonable' number of colors that I may try.

I received that Sweepstakes Winning notice again last night. This time it came from Kazakhstan. For the past 3-4 days I have been receiving about a dozen spam email per day which my host has been detecting but not these Winners. I haven't checked to see where they are all coming from but my guess is they are from the same 'bot'.

We got to do our afternoon walk yesterday but I had to wait until a little after 4:00 to start and still got sprinkled on. I could see the sun for the first time in a couple of days and some blue sky but still had rain falling. The total for yesterday was 1.30" which added to what came since arriving on 1 October brings the monthly total to 3.14"

The average for the month of October in Arizona City is 1.05" which for this Park means on average it floods every October. Certainly the space that I am in would have standing water and mud. It only takes about 0.10" to create those conditions because of the runoff.

I had running water under my steps for most of the day yesterday and had ankle deep water that will become mud for a week or more. I carried Patches in and out of Desperado yesterday trying to keep as much mud out as I could. She also was very hesitant to jump down the steps into a lake of water. The lake was not so deep this morning but the mud situation will just get worse before it gets better.

We did our usual walk within the Park and will stay in the Park for at least today and tomorrow. The field that is south, east and west will be far too muddy until then and I know I will not be able to cross any of the paved roads with ditches beside them. The one on the south side of Battaglia was still running water this morning.

Then it was off to town with a stop at the Iron Skillet at I-10 Exit 204. The Flood Warning yesterday reported flood water over I-10 between that Exit and on north of Maricopa. From there it was on to the south Fry's for a quick grocery gathering. Then back to the Park and backed into my lake parking space. I need to dump holding tanks and take on water but I'm going to try and hold off for 1-2 days if I can. It would be a muddy job if I were to do it today.

I'll stay inside until our afternoon walk which I'll do with my wet clammy shoes and wet socks. Yesterday I waded through ankle deep water with just shoes and no socks but this morning I could not put my foot into those wet shoes without some cover. It would have been just as well if I had because the socks became soaked within minutes.

Only a slight chance of showers this afternoon but the chances go up to 70% tonight. The lake by my steps has mostly gone away leaving a mud hole which adding water would actually be an improvement. While doing our morning walk I felt a few sprinkles but what looked like rain clouds have moved on and there is now only partial cloud cover.

The Kavanaugh News cycle seems to have finally run its course. The Kanye West- Trump meeting was a weekend News cycle filler but has also lost its mojo. The Establishment needs to find something/anything to use against President Trump again. They are running out of time before the midterm elections and the President looks to be dominating the News. That is not good!

Not much news from this reporter either. I'll be doing the same things. I have checked the Pima Pistol Club web page for the BUG Match results and they have not been posted. Most clubs are prompt with the results, don't know what the problem with this one might be.

The big News is all about Senator Elizabeth Warren's DNA test that has proved(?) she is possibly 1/1,024 American Indian. She has built her entire career on the back of a claim that she has Cherokee Indian heritage. So she had a DNA test done and the blowback has been fierce.

A DNA test is useless to determine tribal citizenship. Current DNA tests do not even distinguish whether a person’s ancestors were indigenous to North or South America," Cherokee Nation Secretary of State Chuck Hoskin Jr. said. "Sovereign tribal nations set their own legal requirements for citizenship, and while DNA tests can be used to determine lineage, such as paternity to an individual, it is not evidence for tribal affiliation. Using a DNA test to lay claim to any connection to the Cherokee Nation or any tribal nation, even vaguely, is inappropriate and wrong. It makes a mockery out of DNA tests and its legitimate uses while also dishonoring legitimate tribal governments and their citizens, whose ancestors are well documented and whose heritage is proven. Senator Warren is undermining tribal interests with her continued claims of tribal heritage." - Cherokee Nation Secretary of State Chuck Hoskin Jr
The official report will show that there was no rain here yesterday. However, just before going to bed I heard it raining again but very light and for a very short time so I would have to rank it as a trace. Mostly clouds this morning but no expected rain in the 10 Day forecast except for next Sunday but even then the chances are low.

I stopped to talk with a new arrival while on our afternoon walk yesterday. They were telling me about the flooding last year while they were here. They said that where I am now parked was far worse than it is now. No one could park in this corner where I am now and there were at least 6 dump trucks of fill brought in. They should have brought in about 3 more!

The only thing that I have on the agenda, other than my daily routine, is to dump holding tanks and add water. I might be forced to do that today but if I can I'll hold out until tomorrow and get one more day of drying. The area around the sewer inlet appears dry but is still muddy around the water outlet. It is much better but the lake area will probably remain muddy until the next rain.

The News seems to be focused on Saudi Arabian journalist Jamal Khashoggi. I guess I am in the extreme minority that does not much care what happened to a Saudi Arabian journalist. It seems to me that there are far more important issues here in the Good 'ol US of A that need to be reported upon.

Such as the low temperature here this morning. Not all that cold at 51° but it felt colder than that. The 10 Day forecast is expecting today to be like yesterday and then back up to the 80s for the high temperatures and in the 60s for the lows. No rain in the forecast!

I moved Desperado this morning so my sewer hose would reach the inlet and got holding tanks dumped. That move also required unhooking from electric and then reconnecting when finished with the dump. I then backed up into a position where I could connect to water and where I will stay.

I could stay connected to any two of the three utilities at the same time but not all three without buying some extensions. There are other spaces that are worse than this one for utility connections, I also stay connected only to electric, so I have no complaints about that. Only the lack of drainage when it rains!

The 'season' has an Activities Director that stopped by yesterday and gave me an activities calendar for November and a News Letter. They have a Chicken Foot activity every Monday that I had to look up online to find out what it was - dominos. They also have Beginning Chair and Advanced Chair which I also had to look up - yoga. Also cards, Bingo, darts and the ever popular eating activities. None of them will I likely take part in.

The Park is starting to fill up. I see new arrivials every morning and afternoon. There may also be people arriving that leave their RV parked here year around and only come and use it during the 'season'. There are also a lot of Park Models that are rentals versus people that live here full time. Some of those people may also be arriving.

T his is the last pixel art drawing that I'll be doing from patterns that I have downloaded from cross-stitch-pattern.net. They have been FREE in the past but there is now a charge of $2.50/month. A charge per pattern I might pay but the per month charge will not work for me.

My next effort will be using 12 colors. It will be one of the landscape patterns with the fewest colors that I could find at gvellostitch.com. There are a lot of other patterns available so I'll see how well I do with this one. The pattern PDF file for this one is more complicated than what I have been working with but I'll probably be able to use it.

We were able to cross the ditch on our walk to the west yesterday. It was still a bit muddy but we found a dry place to ford. Walked near, not by, the house where the Pit Bull charged. I found that he had bit Patches during that confrontation. It was not noticable until Patches started licking it and made the spot on her lower front left leg bigger. We will continue to walk in that area but will shun that house.

The Lame Stream Media seems rather reticent these past few days. The Jamal Khashoggi story has not 'got legs' yet. Senator Warren's DNA test results have been good for laughs but have not been the News story that she and The Establishment had hoped. Even the Media is now deriding her Cherokee claim.

Read Will Rogers column 88 years ago: October 19, 1930

I have nothing on my To Do List for today. I'll be doing some drawing on the latest pixel art that I have selected. I'll also be reading more of the latest novel that I have on my Paperwhite. I am nearing the end of it but took some time away from it to read The Great Liberal Death Wish in PDF format on my laptop.
... in the course of which I found myself engaged in Intelligence duties. And let me tell you that if there is one thing more fantastical than news, it is Intelligence. News itself is a sort of fantasy; and when you actually go collecting news, you realize that this is so. In a certain sense, you create news; you dream news up yourself and then send it. But that's nothing to the fantasy of Intelligence. Of the two, I would say that news seems really quite a sober and considered commodity compared with your offerings when you're an Intelligence agent. - The Great Liberal Death Wish, Malcolm Muggeridge (1970)
James Howard Kunstler has done it again. I have said before that I don't always agree with what he says but I really like the way he says it. Do read his posting Feeling the Heat Yet? it is one of his better ones.
Thus, the US has decided to get through the approaching winter by setting its house on fire. The two political parties alternately in charge of things are driving around the burning house, stopping at intervals to run Chinese Fire Drills. We call these “elections.” Both parties pretend that the burning house is not a problem. Mr. Trump, aka the Golden Golem of Greatness, has taken “ownership” of the rising temperature in the burning house. “Hey, at least you’re not freezing now.” He and his party have been piling all the furniture inside the house on the fire, to keep the heat up, rather heedless that flames are starting to shoot out of the attic.
Here is Caitlan Jonston's take on the Khashoggi story Be Skeptical Whenever The Political/Media Class Converges On A Single Narrative. I have quoted the nub of her article but it is wothwhile to read it all.
Whenever you see the politicians and media all converge in agreement across political lines upon a single narrative with a great deal of focus and promotion, it’s time to turn up the dial on your skepticism, especially when that narrative involves foreign policy. So stay skeptical. Just because the talking heads are telling you that Jamal Khashoggi has been brutally murdered and it’s very important that you care doesn’t mean you have to believe them. If this is a propaganda narrative to advance a new oligarchic agenda, there’s no reason to go helping them advance it. Eyes wide.

Today was shopping day. First was our walk of course then off to breakfast at the Golden 9 restaurant. This is a truck stop restaurant south of I-10 with the Iron Skillet on the north side. Not a great Denver Omelet but good enough that I'll be back. There are not a lot of early morning restaurant choices here so I can not be to particular.

Then went past Fry's to a laundromat where I got dirty clothes in the washer and started typing up this posting for the day. Maybe finish it by the time the drying cycle has finished. I'll then stop at Fry's on the way back to the Park.

That was my adventure in the morning with the rest of the day just promising my normal stuff. We did a walk to the east yesterday afternoon through the big field then back to the Park along Battaglia Blvd on the north side. There are cotton fields on that side with a wide dirt road that is well off of Battaglia which is great.

I'll be doing this walk and the one to the west both clockwise and counterclockwise which will give me four afternoon routes. The morning walks will probably all be inside the Park where I have some street lights since we are up and walking in the dark.

The Bill and Hillary Clinton Roadshow will open at the Park Theater at Park MGM, Las Vegas, NV on 18 November. This theater has a capacity of 5,200 with ticket prices starting at $87 (67 tickets) and go up to $4,911 (two tickets); they went on sale last week.

Their performance will be one in which they engage each other in conversation, without an interviewer posing awkward questions. WOW, doesn't that sound like a show that can't be missed. Let me make a prediction - the Las Vegas venue will NOT be sold out nor will the following 12 bookings.

I didn't like this book as well as the prior three. The author killed off a lot of the characters that I liked. It truly is a feast for crows with all the killing that goes on in this book. It is not one for the faint of heart to read. He does have a way of bringing back characters that have died, or seem to have, so I have hope that some of those characters that died in this book will return.

A Feast for Crows is the fourth of seven planned novels in the epic fantasy series A Song of Ice and Fire. The novel was first published on October 17, 2005, in the United Kingdom, with a United States edition following on 8 November 2005. leftpicIn May 2005, Martin announced that the "sheer size" of his still-unfinished manuscript for A Feast for Crows had led him and his publishers to split the narrative into two books. Rather than divide the text in half chronologically, Martin opted to instead split the material by character and location, resulting in "two novels taking place simultaneously" with different casts of characters. The concurrent novel A Dance with Dragons was released on July 12, 2011 the fifth book in the series. - Edited Wikipedia

I said that the FREE cross stitch patterns had been replaced by a $2.50/mo fee. That was what I was lead to believe when I tried to download one using Firefox/Ubuntu. However, I tried to download some yesterday using Chrome/Chromebook and had no problems and no messages about a FEE.

So, I have FREE ones again although I am glad that I went looking for a replacement source. I found a pretty good one and also found stitchfiddle.com some online software that draws cross stitch patterns from downloaded pictures. I tried a few times and failed to get a pattern that I thought I could then use to draw pixel art. Like all software it requires some time and effort so I'll be trying to make my own patterns as well.

I was treated to an aerial show this morning. I think conditions were perfect for the application of defoliate on the cotton just across the road from my space here in the park - wind speed was 0 mph. It was done by an 'aerial applicator' or 'ag pilot', what we old timers called 'crop dusters'. Just amazing flying.

P resident Trump confirmed the US will leave an arms control treaty with Russia. He claims that the US must do so because Russia has violated the agreement and have been violating it for many years. Is it just coincidence that he is doing it after what President Putin said at the Valdai International Discussion Club On 18 October.
I will remind you of what I have said. I have said that our nuclear weapons doctrine does not provide for a pre-emptive strike. I would like to ask all of you and those who will later analyse and in one way or another interpret my every word here, to keep in mind that there is no provision for a pre-emptive strike in our nuclear weapons doctrine. Our concept is based on a reciprocal counter strike. There is no need to explain what this is to those who understand, as for those who do not, I would like to say it again: this means that we are prepared and will use nuclear weapons only when we know for certain that some potential aggressor is attacking Russia, our territory. I am not revealing a secret if I say that we have created a system which is being upgraded all the time as needed – a missile early warning radar system. This system monitors the globe, warning about the launch of any strategic missile at sea and identifying the area from which it was launched. Second, the system tracks the trajectory of a missile flight. Third, it locates a nuclear warhead drop zone.

Only when we know for certain – and this takes a few seconds to understand – that Russia is being attacked we will deliver a counter strike. This would be a reciprocal counter strike. Why do I say ‘counter’? Because we will counter missiles flying towards us by sending a missile in the direction of an aggressor. Of course, this amounts to a global catastrophe but I would like to repeat that we cannot be the initiators of such a catastrophe because we have no provision for a pre-emptive strike. Yes, it looks like we are sitting on our hands and waiting until someone uses nuclear weapons against us. Well, yes, this is what it is. But then any aggressor should know that retaliation is inevitable and they will be annihilated. And we as the victims of an aggression, we as martyrs would go to paradise while they will simply perish because they won’t even have time to repent their sins. - President Putin
We walked west counterclockwise yesterday afternoon. At the point where we turned back east and headed for home I could see a a haboob about 20 miles away and there were ESE winds pushing it my way. We got hit by it about a quarter of a mile before reaching Desperado but it was not as bad as it looked and the winds pushing it were not that strong. As we hurried through the Park I came upon a gaggle of 'tourists' taking phone pictures of the weird weather in Arizona.

The Weather Underground reporting station claims there was no rain last night. However, I hear it. Very heavy drop that I thought was hail. It did not last long but this morning I could see that the ground was wet and there were puddles in the Park's paved roads. I think we may get some more before the day is done. The weather guessers give it a small chance and only a slightly bigger chance tomorrow.

T he October Pima Pistol Club BUG Match scores were finally posted/ It came as no surprise to me that I was last, by a huge margin. There was only one other BUG Revolver participant which shot much better than I did but still way down in the total rankings. I know that there were some other revolvers there but they all were in the BIg 5 Class.

I will probably go to the November Match, maybe the December Match. I'll be trying to get the VA to do something about my cataract surgery in January so any plans for that month are flexible at this point. It is a long drive to the Match but I need the range time knowing that I will certainly not be competitive.

"President Donald Trump told reporters Monday that the United States would increase its nuclear arsenal until other nations "come to their senses," threatening an arms race days after he said he would withdraw the US from a Cold War nuclear treaty." - Eli Watkins and Maegan Vazquez.

This sure sound a lot like "The beatings will continue until morale improves". I'm not convinced that is the best way to force adherence to an agreement that the Russians claim they have not violated and China never signed onto. From Candidate Trump promising to get us out of wars to President Trump trying to start more has certainly been disappointing.

leftpicThis is the pixel art drawing that I selected from the alternative source for patterns. I found that I could use the pattern as well as, or maybe even easier, that the one that I had been using. However, the yarn colors and therefore the HEX colors for this piece were very poor. There were three shades of green that varied so little that when placed next to each other as pixels you could not see any difference.

Even on GIMP at 800% it was difficult and when I tried to 'Select By Color' GIMP combined all three shades as one color. So I did some free lance coloring to provide the contrast that was lacking and think it looks pretty good. I'll be doing another drawing using a pattern from the original web site but will also try some more from this alternative site.

You would not think that this book would be worth the time to read it by what Wikipedia says. But Mr. Jerome's diary is chock full of satirical comments about the Germans and his fellow British as well as poking fun at himself.

This book was published soon after the novel that he is most known for, Three Men In A Boat, was a financial sucess and allowed him to write full time. I am guessing that he tried to build on that previous books travel with humor theme.

Diary of a Pilgrimage was published in 1891 and tells of a trip undertaken by Jerome and his friend "B" to see the Oberammergau Passion Play in Germany.

leftpic They travel by train from London Victoria to Dover and have a rough overnight crossing of the Channel to Ostend and thence by train to Cologne where they spend a night in a hotel. The following day they visit Cologne Cathedral before catching the train to Munich, travelling alongside the Rhine. They spend Sunday in Munich where Jerome practices his German before catching a train to Oberau and then a carriage to Oberammergau to see the play. They return via Heidelberg. - Edited Wikipediia

More rain came. It started a little before 3:00 yesterday afternoon preceedd by a brief wind storm at its leading edge. The Weather Underground reporting station said that we got 0.17" this time. It was certainly more than the brief shower that I experienced that was not reported. Enough that I knew the field would be wet and muddy so did not attempt to do the planed walk to the west. We stayed in the Park and out of the mud except at my space getting in and out of Desperado. Forecast to be HOT this weekend with no rain in the next 10 days.

We went to town this morning with a stop at Denny's for breakfast. The Santa Fe Skillet was as good as always but the service was poor and it was more expensive that what I remember from three months ago. They are pricing themselves out of business; they have nothing to offer that merits that high of a price.

I quote the closing of a very good article Death Is in Charge of the Clattering Train of US Security Policy by Martin Sieff. Recommended.
“The pace is hot, and the points are near,
And Sleep hath deadened the driver’s ear;
And signals flash through the night in vain.
Death is in charge of the clattering train!”
Edwin James Milliken

The same judgment should be made of US policymaking today. In the White House, the Department of Defense the State Department, both houses of Congress and the great institutions of the US media, the story is the same. No sane and responsible person is in control any more.

Death is in charge of the clattering train.

Not much happening here. I can not get nearly excited about the mail bombs as the Lame Stream Media wants. From what I have read they did not have a functioning detonator and everything else seems to shout false flag.

I did get started drawing my next pixel art. Found early on that there were three yarn colors specified that when converted to Hex were again so close in shade that GIMP could on tell the difference when 'Select By Color' was attempted. I was able to change just one of the three and GIMP then seems to be able to tell the difference. It is sure not looking like much at this point but hope that it will improve as more of it is drawn.

We are going to try and do our afternoon walk clockwise to the west today. I think the big field is dry enough and route avoids the ditches along the paved roads - maybe. The low lake area by Desperado's steps is still wet but I have backed even farther into the space and have stayed out of the worst part. Stll a lot of mud under Despearado but I don't care about that.
At this point, anyone who still believes either party actually represents their interests is an NPC [non--player character]. No matter what happens in the midterm elections (traditionally a retaking of the House by Democrats and possible gains in the Senate as well, but given Democrats’ fondness for failure lately who knows) the only real winners will be the plutocratic class which holds all the cards and controls all the outcomes regardless of which party is in power. I’m not telling people that voting necessarily makes no difference or that it’s something they should avoid, but I am saying that no real change will come to America until Americans uproot the two-headed one-party system of the oligarchy and replace it with something that serves them. - Midterms 2018: Battle Of The NPCs, Caitlan Johnstone
Do I have to link to every one of the literally thousands of impassioned editorials, articles, and TV and radio segments in which respected journalists at serious news outlets have warned us, over and over, and over, that Donald Trump is literally Hitler, or virtually Hitler, and probably also a Russian agent? I don’t think so. Do you think that respectable publications like The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Guardian, The Atlantic, Time, and so on, would print such inflammatory allegations if the fate of democracy were not at stake? That would be rather reckless, wouldn’t it? I mean, how many times can you call a guy Hitler before Americans demand that somebody kill him?

This is what we do, after all. Killing Hitler is America’s thing. America has been killing Hitler since … well, since Hitler killed himself. Saddam was Hitler. We killed him, didn’t we? Or we got some guys to kill him for us. Same goes for Gaddafi. He was Hitler. We killed the hell out of him. That was fun. We got some guys to sodomize him with a bayonet, and shoot him in the head, and then we laughed about it on national television. Oh, and Osama bin Laden. He was definitely Hitler … OK, not while he was working with the CIA, but later, after he went native on us. We shot him in the face and dumped in the ocean. And Milosevic, he was also Hitler! OK, we didn’t kill him, but we killed his whole country, then we put him on trial in the Hague for war crimes. And what about Stalin, Ho Chi Minh, Castro, Khomeini, Bashar al Assad, and all the other Hitlers we wanted to kill, or tried to kill but couldn’t kill? The list goes on and on, and on. - The Assassination of Donald Trump, C.J. Hopkins

A lot of cooking the past two days. I made up a batch of tune, hulled barley and oat groats yesterday then as soon as I got the pot empty made some with chicken. Today I cook more breakfast meals and maybe put some salmon in the roaster. The salmon may wait until tomorrow or Sunday.

A VERY short essay that is good but I can not see any reason for the number of republishings that it had.

'Dreams' is a short essay on dreams by this humorous author. Jerome Klapka Jerome was born in Walsall, England in 1859. Both his parents died while he was in his early teens, and he was forced to quit school to support himself. leftpic In 1889, Jerome published his most successful and best-remembered work, 'Three Men in a Boat'. Featuring himself and two of his friends encountering humorous situations while floating down the Thames in a small boat, the book was an instant success, and has never been out of print. - book promo

The 'migrant caravan' is political theater that I think President Trump has hijacked. The organizers of the caravan must have thought that such a 'march' would increase anti-Trump turnout in the midterm elections. What the president has done is use the caravan as a current example of why there needs to be a Wall. Immigration and The Wall were probably the biggest issue he had in 2016 and remains.

Trump's calling up military troops is his dramatic posturing in the theater drama. The caravan is over a 1,000 miles from the closest border crossing. If the caravan is trully a 'march' then it will be almost two months before it reaches that crossing. If they plan on crossing at Nogales, AZ then they are about 2,000 miles away and a lot of them will die along the way.

James Howard Kunstler has a good posting, Are the Dems Self-punking?, that covers the caravan and pipe bomb double feature.
Next up: the colorful caravan of asylum seekers from Central America marches through Mexico for its showdown at the US border. US troops are on their way. Who engineered that potential fiasco? Can’t we find out? You really have to wonder if the gang behind this prank is the same one behind the pipe bomb stunt. If so, I know who I’m going to nominate for this year’s Darwin Award.

Another trip into town today. This time it was for Patches' bath appointment. Stopped at Golden 9 for breakfast and got their Corned Beef Hash, eggs, hash browns, tortilla and coffee. A lot better than the first meal that I had there.

After getting Patches checked in I drove to another RV Park to see if they had a space for me. No guaranteed reservation but they have a lot of spaces available today. I'll take my chances on the first of November. I made a mistake when I selected this Park, didn't know that it flooded every with rain. It would be inexcusable for me to stay and complain when it does it again now that I know that be be the case.

I am also going to see if I can get into my 'domicile' Park in Huachuca City in December. I have a reservation starting in February but want to get there where I can be face-to-face with VA about cataract surgery. With the VA it is the squeaky wheel that get served just to make you go away.

This is the second time I have typed this up so I think I'll quit and see if I can get it posted.

Yesterday afternoon just before our regular walk I felt bad. Sort of an upset stomach feeling and broke out in a sweat. Was going to cancel the walk but knew that I had to get Patches out so I did get out there. We did a shorter walk within the Park. This gave Patches a chance to show off her new bandana that she got from the groomer. She was meeting people and 'styling'!

When we got back to Desperado I was not sure that I wanted to eat 'linner' but after about 30 minutes on the couch I felt better. Ate my regular 'linner' and felt much better after that. Still not quite right when I went to bed but back to what I consider normal this morning.

leftpicThis was a relatively easy piece to draw but I had my doubts about how it would look. While drawing it on GIMP at 800% it sure did not look very good. It was also easy because it is small 124x68 with lots of empty space and the dish had a lot of bucket dump colors. I'll be drawing another tree next.

I have also started drawing the first of four that will be presented as a group when finished. These are FREE patterns found at GvelloStitch.com that require more colors than what I have been drawing until now but I think I'm ready. The first one has 20 colors and two of them were selected by GIMP as being the same so substituted a color that I hope will work.

The Establishment was just giddy with the opportunity to blame President Trump for the bombings that didn't go boom. That story was not gaining much traction but then came the fortuitous synagogue shooting. Fortuitous for The Establishment, it gave them a renewed opportunity to blame President Trump for the shooting and also ramp up the anti-gun rhetoric prior to the midterm elections.

Started the process of moving. Went to the Park office this morning and told them I was not staying and found out what time I could pay my electric bill on Wednesday. Got the bathroom cleaned and the floor in the bathroom and kitchen washed. I'll get the living room vacuumed before the day is done and maybe Desperado's cab. Washing windows and the dash will keep until tomorrow.

The two pixel art projects that I am working on have surprised me. The 10 color one is much harder to draw than the 20 colors. The 10 colors are all mixed together with only a few of the same color grouped together. The 20 color one has relatively large blocks of the same colors. That is for now, either or both of them could change as I continue.

Paul Craig Roberts has a good posting, Is the Western World Too Insane to Be Worth Saving?, that begins with this quote about the firing of Megyn Kelly. He then goes on to provide more examples of how Identity Politics has driven the Western World insane
According to news reports NBC has cancelled Megyn Kelly’s program for making "insensitive comments" while participating in a panel discussion on the appropriateness of blackface in Halloween costumes. Here is what she said: "Truly, you do get in trouble if you are a white person who puts on blackface for Halloween or a black person who put on whiteface for Halloween. When I was a kid, that was okay as long as you were dressing up as like a character." She added, "I don’t know how that got racist on Halloween."

It is beyond understanding what is offensive about what she said. She stated that it had become a no-no for the black and white races to impersonate one another even in fun and she didn’t know why. I don’t either. Do you? It makes no sense.
James Howard Kunstler has a good posting as well today, The Monster Mash. I think the answer to his "then what" question will be more of the same only more violent with more push back; what may be well described as a cultural civil war.
The Democratic Party war on white people and their dastardly privilege has been the theme all year long, with its flanking movement against white men especially and super-especially the hetero-normative white male villains who rape and oppress everybody else. Anyway, that’s the strategy du jour. I’m not persuaded that it’s going to work so well in the coming election. The party could not have issued a clearer message than "white men not welcome here." Very well, then, they’ll vote somewhere else for somebody else. And if it happens that the Dems don’t prevail, and don’t manage to get their hands on the machinery of congress — then what? -

Got a neighbor on my left side, on the other side of the trees, yesterday afternoon. A huge 5th wheel that would be a great fit for the space that I am in because its entry steps would be out of the mud hole. The utility locations work fairly well for the big rigs except the water outlets require hoses to run across the neighbor's front yard. The locations do not work well at all for short rigs.

I'll be washing windows and wiping down the dash this morning. Will also take on water since the tank is getting near the point that I would usually do so. Won't move Desperado so I can dump holding tanks until the 1st when I am leaving. I'll pull forward, dump the tanks and say farewell to this Park. I could wait until I get to my next camp but doing it this way is probably the easiest.

I quote Michael J. Hurd's blog posting, Uncensored Leftist Moral Superiority, in its entirety with no hot link.
Hi, I’m a leftist. I call myself progressive.
I am morally superior to you.
How do I know that? Because I support unconditional entry of all immigrants into the USA. And yes, they should immediately get all government benefits.
Do I plan to personally host any of these people in my own house? Or directly withdraw money from my own investments to pay for them? Of course not. But neither will you.
What makes me morally superior is that I support the GOVERNMENT doing this. Once I give my nod to the government to take care of others, that makes me a good person. And, if you oppose me, it makes me a better person than you.

So there.

If I had no other reasons for leaving this Park the mass of people coming in would be reason enough. They are also all big 5th wheels and Class 'A's; the sort of people that I biasly associate with a Park that has an Activities Director.

I expect there will be even more coming in today and tomorrow. I'll be gone before they get here tomorrow but will be entertained all of today watching them come in and get set up. Some of them know what they are doing, such as my neighbors but there are others that I think this is their 'first rodeo'.

I won't move very far tomorrow but have things to do in town before getting to the next camp. High on the list is stop at the dentist where I have an appointment and see if I can get it changed.

I have given up on the pixel drawing that had 10 colors. There were three of the colors that were so close in shade to three others that GIMP would select them both as being one color. I tried some substitutions but don't know enough about colors to make intelligent ones. What I had drawn did not look good so that one will have to wait until I become better educated.

My other tree requires only 7 colors. However, most of them were very pale colors. So, I have selected one shade darker in each case based on the color names. For instance if the yarn color is described as being Ultra Very Light I will try Very Light of if Very Light I'll try Light. Haven't tried to do any drawing yet, just got the colors selected. The proof of concept will be in the drawing.
